7-6-07 - The new Willowdale Travel Mugs are selling fast - get your's before their gone! Available only at the club.

5-28-07 - News department cut from club budget.

6-20-06 - Swimathon set for July 9th. Download a Swimathon Pledge Form and get started! Cool prizes form top lap swimmer and top pledge collector.

6-20-06 - 2006 Emergency Information Forms available. All families with children under 18 must have a current form on file with the pool manager.

6-15-06 - Youth Tennis Program Announced. Registration begins today, class starts July17th.

5-10-06 - 2006 Comedy Night Swim Team fundraiser scheduled, Friday, July 14th. Save the date, and reserve a table for your group. Purchase tickets online now, or at the Swim Club.

5-9-06 - Treasurer reports membership renewals ahead of year-to-date 2005, with more families renewing earlier.

5-6-06 - Renovations around the club continue: New railing and retaining wall near the shallow end deck, new concrete and planter box at the main entrance, and new fence around the kiddie pool paddock all completed.

4-23-06 - Spring Volunteer Day scheduled for Saturday, April 29th.

4-23-06 - Board of Trustees authorizes replacement of the kiddie pool fence, and purchase of certified playground mulch.

4-20-06 - New Sign, new BBQ grills, and new tables delivered and installed.

3-24-06 - Jen Pisani takes over Learn to Swim Program. Last year's program was popular, so register your child early. Space is limited to 12 swimmers.

3-15-06 - Spring Mailing and Dues Statements to be mailed 3-20-06. No dues increase for 4th consecutive season!

9/5/05 - Tribe Wannahaukaloogii wins this year's Tribal Contests! See Survivor Challenge 2005 for details, and photo.

8/24/05 - Survivor Challenge 2005 scheduled for Labor Day, 11:00am

7/26/05 - Camp-out, Mini-Mini Triathlon 2005, and Adult Social scheduled (Actually, almost right upon us: 8/12, 8/13, and 7/30 respectively.)

6/7/05 to 7/24/05 - News Entries Suspended: Too busy to type. Check the Update Archive if you prefer your news aged.

6/6/05 - Swim Team Comedy Night Fundraiser set for July 8th. $15 per ticket, must be 21+. Get your friends together and let's raise some money for the Dolphin's - maybe new lane lines.

6/5/06 - Carly McCance continues her domination of the Tube Racing Series through 24 races, earning 69 points. The Season is young. The Tube Racing Standings are growing ever more complex, now listing races entered, and average points per race by racer.

6/5/06 - New Volleyball net deemed too tall by veteran players, adjustments are planned. Ken Winter measures 9" adjustment necessary.

6/3/05 - The New Water Volleyball net is ready for action.

6/1/05 - Swim Team announces revised practice schedule, see Swim Team

6/1/05 - Ratty old Water Volleyball net to be replaced this week! Adult Swimmers almost ready to brave frigid water.

5/31/05 - First Swim Practices well attended, 2005 Dolphin's Season underway.

5/30/05 - The Willowdale Cup Tube Racing Series kicked-off the 2005 season with three days of power tubing and heated competition among the 15 & under set. More than two dozen participants are ranked in the Tube Racing Standings.

5/24/05 - Swim Team Volunteer Recruitment Effort Begins

Volunteer Job Descriptions & Sign-up "Grid" pdf's are available for downloading from the Swim Team page. Ask not what your swim team can do for you, but rather what you can do for your swim team. Ich bin ein Delfin!

5/23/05 - Pool to Open Early! Friday 5/27 2:00 to 7:00pm

CH Public Schools are closed, so why not get those band tests out of the way early? So what if the water is 47 degrees!

5/22/05 - New Willowdale Apparel orders due by June 8th for delivery in time for the first meet.

5/18/05 - Tri-County Meet Manager Software Training

5/18/05 - Tri-County Meet sheet & swimmer/relay card preparation Clinic

5/12/05 - Tri-County Swimming announces the dates for its Officials Clinics

All swim team parents are encouraged to attend a clinic and become a certified meet official.

5/8/05 - Spring 2005 Volunteer Effort

A good number of families came out and pitched-in to help with seasonal start-up. Thanks to everyone who participated.

4/18/05 - Baja Fresh Pre-season Fundraiser #2 was another éxito grande!

Once again, our membership showed its massive appetite and enthusiam. The Baja Banditos (Staff) have finished counting the [insert your own joke: beans, pesos, etc.] and the grand total raised was $75.75. Notably, 2 weeks ago the entire Bret Harte elementary school only raised $82.00. This comparison clearly demonstrates Willowdale's world class gastronomic talent.

4/3/05 - Pre-season Fundraiser #1 Nopoli Pizza was a Big Success!

Thanks to everyone who participated. Eating for a good cause is always a win-win. The Guys at Nopoli were grinning wide, and the Swim Team got better than 15% of that action! They finished counting the cash 4/7/04 and the total gorge was $478. Dave, the head Nopoli guy displayed true grace and generosity: He chose to "throw you's an even hundred."
